Which love route do you choose?

A girl who has lost her memories wanders around 5 parallel worlds, loved differently in each of them by 5 men... From that play that received overwhelming support from women, Musical [ AMNESIA ] re:again, are the five people here who played the role of lover. Right before the DVD release, we talk about their honest thoughts about love seperately from their characters.

The 5 people and characters and the stage and reality are really disconnected

With this redo, how did it feel when you gathered for the first time in a long while?
Izawa: It was like a family, just like before. But although it was the first time in a while that everyone gathered, we've met up a few times individually.
Kobayashi: It doesn't feel like it's been a long time at all, huh.

This time Yamazaki-san is in that circle, only he's participating for the first time..
Yamazaki: At first I was nervous! But from my first impression I thought they were gentlemanly people, the way they were joking around among other things had a good vibe. (laughs) Everyone was friendly so early on, so I ended up fitting right in.
Hatakeyama: It's nothing like fitting in, from my point of view it just was forcing yourself in. (laughs)
Izawa: Yeah. Although he was humbling himself a little bit at our first meeting, he had a big smile like he wasn't thinking of anything as he forced yourself in. (laughs)

That sort of feeling, could you analyse the personalities of the other four people like that?
Kobayashi: Ryuko-kun can always brighten up the atmosphere of any situation.
Izawa: He's #1 when it comes to making people laugh, which I think is difficult. He can do it easily. He's a genius, isn't he?
Isogai: No, no, that's actually Yuuki. He's good at singing, he's good at acting, he's good at dancing too. Hey, God, aren't those too many gifts?! That's what I think.
Hatakeyama: I think there's a lot of michievous people.
Izawa: Surprisingly I've lost of lot of my stuff too...
Isogai: But Yuuki is the one to decide, isn't he? Even in the practice hall, when the atmosphere gets just a little worse as everyone gets tired, Yuuki gathers us in a circle and tells some story. It makes our hearts into one.
Hatakeyama: It's charisma.
Yamazaki: Hata-kun is pure.
Isogai: I'm just honest.
Kobayashi: It shows on your face, huh. When you're worried you show a worried kind of face, and when you're nervous your smile becomes stiff. (laughs)
Hatakeyama: Koba-kun is very composed. For example, during practice he had an accident and twisted his foot a little. While everyone was panicking, he taught me about a treatment.
Kobayashi: It's since I went to a medical university.
Izawa: Although I wonder what happens when you get passionate, it doesn't show on your face. Basically, he's the type that goes around and looks around calmly.
Yamazaki: Since this is the first time I participated, no matter how much I compare them, I want to remember everyone by heart. There were many times when I forgot to take the stage props with me. Koba-kun came to me asking if I had it and specially handed them over to me. I have great respect not just for one thing, but for everything I've seen as a whole.

If you were girls, what love route would be ideal for you?

Since [ AMNESIA ] has a setting with 5 parallel worlds where you fall in love with one of the 5 men in each respective one, if you were the female protagonist, which love route would you choose?
Yamazaki: For me it would be Shin or Kent. Shin has a kind of cuteness about him. He can't talk in an upfront way about his feelings of love, sort of like that. Kent, as a graduate student at the mathematics department, performs a theoretical analysis of love. He resembles Shin in the way he can't talk about love well either.

Although they're the coldest, you can understand them, huh?
Yamazaki: I think I can understand them!
Izawa: Really?! For me it's Ukyo. Thinking about the ending, since those 2 people couldn't exist in the world at the same time, Ukyo disappeared. He gave his life to save her, I think that gives off the happiest feeling.
Hatakeyama: For me it's Ukyo-san too. Even though I'm a man, I think having a sense of security is the most important thing when it comes to love. When it comes to never having to worry about your partner after this, I think Ukyo-san matches that the most. No matter what happens, he'll absolutely protect you.
Kobayashi: For me it's Kent, who I played. We're the same sort of science type, we resemble each other. I also think theoretically about everything, things don't get very emotional for us. If my opinions would differ from the person I'm going out with, I think you should be able to understand each other as long as you explain it theoretically. Kent and I are like in that sort of way.
Isogai: For me it's Toma.
Kobayashi: Ah, Toma is also good, although he imprisons the protagonist in a cage in order to protect her, that madness is also part of him.. huh.
Isogai: It's since I wasn't thinking about that being done to the girl. I mean, it's two people who have been together since childhood. You have to seperate the good things from the bad things. Moreover, since they can mutually talk about their feelings of love, it should go smoothly after this, definitely!
Yamazaki: You're becoming somewhat of a love advisor. (laughs)

Finally, please tell us about the part of the DVD we should pay attention to.
Izawa: That it includes 3D glasses.
Hatakeyama: Eh, is that so?
Yamazaki: Since everything is popping out with feeling.
Hatakeyama: Ah, like that, it was a lie. I really believed it. (laughs)
Kobayashi: Hata is really honest. (laughs)
Izawa: Well, of course I can say that there's been a power up from the first one, I'm thinking if it wouldn't be fun to compare the appearance. It's just a little different now.
Kobayashi: Yes. Even with simply new songs being added, it seems fresh.
Yamazaki: In terms of specific things, Shin's character of not being able to talk about his feelings in a straight way. But there is a scene where those feelings come out. Since I worked really hard there, I'd like to get your attention.
Kobayashi: I'd like for everyone to see the difference in Kent's facial expression in the beginning and at the end. He's learned about the warmth of a human's heart, he seems to have grown to be the hero.
Hatakeyama: Our five roles are all very individual, everyone's character is different. I think it'd be nice to see all the women wondering who the type is they like the most.
Isogai: Yeah. There's a lot of opinions on what the ultimate lover is, aren't there?
Yamazaki: At the end you've become a love advisor again! (laughs)
