( interview yuuichi nakamura & toshiyuki someya for ssl stage - confetti december 2015 )
Aren't we going to have a heart-pounding Christmas?

Someya: Nakamura-kun, there's a scene where you just got out of the bath, right?
Nakamura: It seems like it. Because that adult sexiness is essential to Hijikata's character, I did my best to show it by behing half-naked, but when it aired, more than that it was about Hijikata having those pictures of maid uniforms.. what I had been long enthusiastic about was entirely stolen away from me. (laughs)
The highlight of it all is that Yukimura Chizuru, the only female student that enrolled at the school, is surrounded by beautiful men that all end up with pounding hearts. What if you two were in that situation?
Someya: Since I'm a contrary person, I probably wouldn't like the person that everyone likes. Aside from that, I'd be attracted to someone who's shining since they're so polished. (laughs)
Nakamura: I'd get tired of liking the most popular girl. Because I'm so bad at it, I think I'd be the type who would be awaiting my chance until my school life is over. (laughs)
You already seem to get along well with your co-stars. It seems like it's very lively and fun on set.
Nakamura: Although it's always noisy in the dressing room, because we're older people we get tired midway. We're comparatively the people who sit in the corner. (laughs)
Someya: We enter our energy saving mode, don't we.
Nakamura: Inagaki (Seiya)-kun who plays Harada was always doing pushups from 5 in the morning, right? He wanted to make his chest wider for his role.
Someya: But it's too late for us to do our best too from now on. (laughs)
Nakamura: I thought everyone was very lively. (laughs)
During the stage play we see the Christmas episode the drama didn't have.
Someya: The fun thing about this work is that there's the great individuality of the characters and everyone's good qualities being shown.
Nakamura: It'd be fun to imagine from my own point of view who I would choose if I was enrolled like that!
Someya: Yeah! Going back to being a student so close to Christmas, I'll be able to have a taste of the bittersweet feeling again.
